Tim articled and practiced commercial law in Halifax. He honed his research and writing skills at journalism school, then spent two years as an online features writer and columnist.
This background helps Tim in both the research and drafting elements of his legal analyst position. He works primarily in the fields of insurance defence, general litigation and marine.

Community Involvement
Tim has co-chaired the Ecology Action Centre Board of Directors and represented the EAC on outside committees and advisory boards related to transportation issues. His EAC activity is currently limited to contributing to, and editing, Between the Issues.
About Tim
Tim enjoys his free time in the company of his partner, Becky, and their dogs, Gus and Ray. They run the occasional race together (the Cabot Trail Relay is a particular favourite) and explore the beauty of the Maritimes whenever possible.
